On Thursday, June 2/05, SSOS held a special meeting at the community center so New Line (the skateboard park design company) could make the grand unveiling of our new skateboard park design concept. The meeting was attended by many of the members of SSOS, people from the community, members from our local Lions Club, and was covered by a reporter from the Salmon Arm Observer newspaper.
More information about the design will be presented here as we go. Meantime, all SSOS members are invited to go to the VDZ forum (picture linked, above) to take part in discussions about our new skate park design concept.
To view our current skateboard park at Fletcher's Park, visitors can click over to this very cool virtual skateboard park tour. It's on the website for the City of Salmon Arm, and there are other Salmon Arm virtual tours you can take there too. Try the zoom in/out and the pan functions - awesome!
